We reported on the development of a new physical manikin representing a two-year old child. The primary application for the manikin is the measurement of lap belt fit in aviation seats. We have now made the design drawings for the manikin available onlineso that anyone can construct the device. This tool has realistic, 3D-printed external contours based on statistical shape modeling of laser scans of over 50 toddlers. Please contact us if you have questions about the design.
